Personality

Livy is just downright lazy. It's not that he can't do certain things, he just doesn't want to. He actually has a lot of potential and skills, but it just sounds too troublesome to even think about doing ... things. With his apt ability to just stand there and do nothing, he developed an interest for observing others, and he's proud of himself for being able to read through most people's minds once he watches them long enough. As a consequence, he has a tendency to be very quiet. He's much like a cat in a way.

Despite being lazy, he's very down-to-earth. He finds the crazy ideas of world domination and chaos too much of a hassle. He rather stay somewhere quiet, sleeping through war and conflict. Despite being a Pandemonian, he has no intentions of working for whatever purpose the ones of his kind have for the world. He just wants to live peacefully throughout the rest of this life, like he always has. Although, he's known for having a bad temper when bothered to a certain extent. If someone crosses a line, he can become quite hostile and will attack if he sees the opportunity.

Since he enjoys sleeping quite a lot, he also enjoys being warm, and if he has someone to sleep with, even better! However, he's a bit shy when approaching people since he rarely does it. If he has no choice, then he'll do it, but one wouldn't expect to have a firy conversation with him. In spite of the way he acts around people, he enjoys spending time with them and can prove to be very helpful when someone's in need of assistance. Just let him have his beauty sleep afterwards.

Biography

Livy doesn't know much of his past. He knows he was born, of course. He knows he had a mother and father, otherwise he wouldn't have been born. However, he does not know who they are. His memory depicts that he was alone pretty much all of his life. This doesn't particularly bother him, but sometimes he just wishes he knew where he came from.

The first couple of centuries are but a blur for him except a certain pandemonian girl who took care of him for some time. She was the one who named him Livyathan, after the legendary water dragon. But since his name was too long, Livyathan introduced himself to people as Livy. He was a bit ashamed of how his name was written since it reminded him of a girl's name, but he slowly began to think that it was too much trouble to feel shame for such a thing. He was grateful for even having a name, that until then, he didn't have. Or at least he didn't know what it was.

As a Wraslothian, he was always a good swimmer. He didn't know why because no one ever taught him. He felt comfortable in the water, that's all he knew. The girl taking care of him was always amazed by his ability to swim without trouble, while she couldn't even float to save her life. But even if she was a pandemonian herself, she passed away of old age while Livy continued to live on. He was so hurt he decided that it was too much trouble to feel like that. That slowly became a motto for him, and he still sticks to it until this day.
